Open-source and API alternatives to remove.bg#

remove.bg API alternative#
The withoutBG Pro Model API is a managed REST API hosted on AWS in Frankfurt (EU). It returns a cutout or the alpha matte, and Refine lets you correct an edge with Keep / Remove strokes. It ranks #1 of 10 on Bench v0. Pay with one-time credit packs or a subscription. New accounts get 50 free credits, no card required.
Self-hosted alternative with a commercial license#
Pro Model Self-Host is the same model as the Pro Model API, run on your own infrastructure: a Docker image for an NVIDIA GPU with CUDA support. €3,600 + VAT, one-off flat fee, with 12 months of updates.
